Taking action on Global Warming
So scientists from all over the world have agreed that Global Warming is real. It's about time. Apparently the past ten years have been the warmest so I suppose that's pretty strong proof.
I was watching the news and the anchor said that nobody watching this broadcast will ever experience a normal winter again. I think he's overstating it, just a bit. Nevertheless, I am relieved that governments everywhere are responding. Our upcoming federal election in Canada, for instance, is going to be primarily based on the environment-first which is why the Conservatives are going to win and the Liberals are going to lose. The Conservatives have a campaign that shows that the current Liberal leader, Stéphane Dion - who can barely speak English as I can hardly understand him - basically screwed up when he was the Environment Minister about ten years ago. So if he was a lousy Environment Minister then it's quite evident that he would be a lousy "Environment-First Prime Minister." I, personally, would like to see Canada as a leader of cleaning the atmosphere.
