Time for an update

Well, I didn't think it was right to keep my 9/11 article on the front page since it makes people sad every time they visit my site, so I guess it's time for some useless updates. Let's start off with some typical questions:
  • What have you been doing lately?
Nothing -- Living the life of Seinfeld (besides the fact that I have to go to school)

  • How was the first month of school?
It was pretty good. This semester is quite easy: I have English, Computer Science, History, and Career/Civics Studies. Next semester, however, won't be as easy as I have French, Art, Math, and Science. Soon (within a couple weeks) I will post a longer article based on my life at school.

  • What do you do on weekends?
It usually varies but I mostly hang out with my friends, play hockey, read, work, and unfortunately homework. Sometimes I go to the cinema or even play golf. In fact, I am going golfing this Saturday.

  • Anything special lately?
Well, I told my friend about this contest called My Dream App in August. In this contest you simply submit 3 ideas of what a really good computer program would be. And, the top 24 favourites (out of 3000 ideas) of the judges are announced and my friend Marshall was one of them. Then, there are 6 rounds of voting. And some with the least amount of votes are eliminated each round. Very similar to American Idol. Well, after Marshall was announced as one of the 24 finalists, it was noticed that his idea already existed as a program. So, not as many people voted for him. He came in 19th place of the first round and hence he was eliminated. Anyway, he won an iPod Shuffle so good for him. If his idea didn't exist, I assume he would make it a lot further in the contest. Nevertheless, It was an exciting few weeks for him and I.

  • So what's going on with the website?
In the next couple months, I will be working on a re-design. It will take long due to my negligence. I just can't be bothered to do it all in one week. The next design will look better of course, and there will be more sections. My friends want me to add a section of their animation videos and games made with Flash, so I suppose I'll put them up. Basically, it will be a lot more organized.

So that's just an update. Happy?
