First and foremost - I'm Andrew Danks, I'm 16, and I'm from Canada. And no, I will not write this in the third person to make it look like someone else wrote it as if I was important or something. Below are answers to questions you might have had when coming to this page specifically. If you want to learn about the website in particular, just scroll down.
What are your general hobbies?
On the computer - reading articles and playing Bridge. Off the computer - generally hanging out with friends, PlayStation 3 and reading.
Do you work?
Currently, in the winter I am an official referee in a minor hockey league. When it isn't winter, I work for a golf course.
Still in school?
Yes, in grade eleven; not sure what the equivalents are in other countries, however. After secondary school, I plan to attend the University of Toronto to pursue in math or science and maybe go to med school.
How about sports?
Hockey. And, umm... is Bridge a sport?
What's your taste in music?
Anything good, which coincidentally happens to be music in the classic rock category. My favourite bands are The Doors, Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan; heck, I have tons of favourites.
Favourite movies and TV Shows?
My favourite movies include the Star Wars saga, the Lord of the Rings saga, The Aviator, The Count of Monte Cristo, The Prestige, and The Bourne Ultimatum. As for TV, I only watch if I know something good is on. My favouites are House, Shark, Dexter and Firefly. Oh, and Jeopardy, of course.
What social websites are you associated with?
I made this website so I could convey my opinions to my friends and the world. I didn't use any common platform such as WordPress or Blogger to deliver this website, I just made it myself. Everything you see on this website was made by me, unless otherwise noted, of course. One might ask, why not make your life easier and just use WordPress? Well, I'd say, I'd rather have the freedom of making this website how I want and not how somebody else wants; there's a lot more freedom this way.
